Hot Ticket

After all of the frustration with the Dollish Polish restocking that wasn't, I was able to snag two of the three colors I wanted the next morning. Soon, the mailman will deliver the bottles of Halloween awesomeness!

Now, on to other Nail Mail News!
While looking for something different in a jade color, I stumbled upon a 'new to me' brand of polish. The color looked close to what I wanted, but it was the bottle that sealed the deal! Hot Ticket nail polish has a picture of a pinup girl on it! Nail polish AND pinup girl in the same product?!? No way I could pass that up!

So, here is my Hot Ticket in Counterfeit manicure!
The first coat went on a little streaky and I was concerned, but the second coat made it fabulous! It is a very creamy polish and the color is amazing. It is more Kelly Green than the Jade I was looking for, but it is definitely one of my current favorites.
Now, after purchasing this color, I realized that it was probably an older color that is not available any longer. All I can say is, if you see it on ebay, buy it! Also, Hot Ticket polish may just get its own shelf on my nail polish shelf!

Tornadoes and Dollish Polish!

As I sat here and wondered what my first blog post would be about, I discovered that Dollish Polish was going to restock tonight. This made me very happy! If I score a bottle tonight, it will be my first Dollish Polish ever! I have picked out three from the Halloween Collection that I MUST have. Restocking is supposed to begin at 5:00 my time, so at 4:45 I go to the website, and get ready to refresh...

In the mean time, the clouds are moving in, the wind is picking up, and the rain is coming. The weather man says it is headed our way. He does not seem to understand that I MUST refresh every ten seconds so I don't miss this sale!

When the tornado sirens start going off, the kids think it is time to move to the basement. Good thing I have a laptop! I am still refreshing! I did have to take about a two minute break to get the dogs in their kennels and the kids in the basement. But no worries, I was plugged back in and refreshing again in no time!

Just fifteen minutes hiding in the basement and we decide we were safe. Everyone back upstairs...and refresh...

So, long story short, three hours and three tornadoes later, I ended up getting NOTHING! The restock did not happen. I guess I will fill my polish needs elsewhere...
